Sorry Calgary, and one month to go

First I want to convey my apologies to the fine people of Calgary and to the Stampeders for rooting for them in the Grey Cup. I rooted for Montreal and BC and they both lost, and now Calgary lost as well. Maybe I should not root for anything – or maybe I should root for the team I want to see lose. With my luck, they probably would win. Murphy is like that.

In other news, it is November 25th as I write this. Which I do believe means that Christmas is but a month away. Am I the only one that does not think it was 11 months ago that we celebrated Christmas last? Time is really flying by when you’re having fun, or when you’re getting old in my case 😉 Another way to know Christmas is getting close, besides the constant Christmas music in the malls/stores, is that we are starting to test our Christmas decorations. Not putting them up mind you, just making sure they work…

Goodnight!

About cthibodeau

I am a baby-boomer who is now in his second career after spending 10 years in the military. I now work in the computer field, which also happens to be one of my hobbies. I also like to sing, play the guitar to accompany my singing, and play the piano when I practice (which is pretty much never these days)
