“Nothing that’s worthwhile is ever easy. Remember that.”
― Nicholas SparksMessage in a Bottle

If this is true then I guess this means that this blogging that I am doing must be worthwhile because it certainly is not easy. 🙂

I was never one with the “gift of the gab” so having to come up with a different topic, or even more to say on the same topic on a nightly basis is not easy for me. Although it might be easier if I did not wait until 11pm to start thinking about what the day’s blog topic should be.

I had to stay at work late today because the change we made during our change window blew up in our faces and we had to have the vendor take control of the server and finally fix the problem for us. I love living in the future; instead of having to send messages and/or screen capture back and forth over email the technician just did a remote session to my desktop (using WebEx) and did the work himself. The old way of doing things would have taken over a day I am sure but this way we were down for less than 5 hours, 3 of which were during the maintenance window.

Enough shop talk for now, there is so recycling that needs to be put out – something else I have procrastinated about. Maybe I should do a post about procrastination since I’m so good at it 😀

Goodnight!

About cthibodeau

I am a baby-boomer who is now in his second career after spending 10 years in the military. I now work in the computer field, which also happens to be one of my hobbies. I also like to sing, play the guitar to accompany my singing, and play the piano when I practice (which is pretty much never these days)

I love that quote Dad. It really hits home with me these days. What I’m doing to better my health is most CERTAINLY not easy, but it must mean that it is worthwhile.
Also, I *LOVE* reading your blog posts Dad. SO MUCH!
