And they’re home!

They had to be on the road for about 13 hours, including 1.5 hours on the ferry, but they did make it home safe and sound on Thursday night.

The trip was mostly uneventful, although there was some excitement between Merritt and Hope when it turned out that there was less gas left in the tank than was thought. They did make it to Hope, but probably on fumes. This will probably be better recounted by somebody that was in the car at the time, so hopefully my older daughter will update her blog once she recovers.

And she has: We are home 😀

Our home is now home to two more cats, my son having brought his kittens with him. He was unsuccessful in finding them a home in Edmonton so it was either the animal shelter or taking them along.

Good Day!

About cthibodeau

I am a baby-boomer who is now in his second career after spending 10 years in the military. I now work in the computer field, which also happens to be one of my hobbies. I also like to sing, play the guitar to accompany my singing, and play the piano when I practice (which is pretty much never these days)
