Missing: enthusiasm

I find myself just going through the motions at the office these last few days. I simply cannot muster any enthusiasm for my job at the moment. I think that this is one of the reasons I jumped at the chance to be able to extend my vacation until the New Year.

While it will be great to be able to visit my son during my vacation, I am mostly looking forward to spending a lot of time with my wife – something I have not been very good at doing lately. If I get nothing else done I will still be happy.

Good night!

About cthibodeau

I am a baby-boomer who is now in his second career after spending 10 years in the military. I now work in the computer field, which also happens to be one of my hobbies. I also like to sing, play the guitar to accompany my singing, and play the piano when I practice (which is pretty much never these days)
