Welcome back, daughter!

My older daughter has just arrived back from her week’s vacation in Mexico. Actually she is not home, but rather in Vancouver where she will be spending the night as it is too late for her to make it home tonight.

I did not get as much accomplished this weekend as I had hoped. It is mostly due to procrastination I think as I seemed to have just stayed on the computer rather than doing other things. I did (well my wife and I did) manage to install a new doorbell – although the advertised more than 100ft range turned out to be more like 20ft. We were able to find a spot where it can be heard upstairs so all was not in vain. It turns out the old doorbell button was broken but the chime part still works; and since they are made by the same company it works with the new buttons. We now have doorbell chimes in both our and our daughters areas of the house.

Good night!

About cthibodeau

I am a baby-boomer who is now in his second career after spending 10 years in the military. I now work in the computer field, which also happens to be one of my hobbies. I also like to sing, play the guitar to accompany my singing, and play the piano when I practice (which is pretty much never these days)
