Well almost

As I mentioned yesterday, I was hoping that there would be enough scratch tapes left in the robot after the bit of work I did last night so that they would last through the night. We ran out of tapes in our BigIron robot at 7:01am; I guess that is through the night, but barely. Only a few backups failed because of it, but that is still too many.

My older daughter has been gone for a day and a half now. She must be having a good time as we have yet to hear from her. To make things more interesting for us, there is a hurricane (Paul) that will be passing close by where they are. Well I guess close is relative; if things continue on the forecasted track, it will be 100 miles away. Now my wife is the expert on hurricanes having lived a good part of her life in the southern US, but I think 100 miles is a long way away.

Good night!

About cthibodeau

I am a baby-boomer who is now in his second career after spending 10 years in the military. I now work in the computer field, which also happens to be one of my hobbies. I also like to sing, play the guitar to accompany my singing, and play the piano when I practice (which is pretty much never these days)
