Over too quickly

The weekend is what is over too quickly. I guess the weekend immediately after a 3-day weekend would always feel that way. Nevertheless, I think I would love to have another day off.

I did not do a whole lot this weekend. On Saturday I went out for lunch with my wife and older daughter. Afterwards, I dropped the whole family off at home and went to Long & McQuade to look around. I went there with no real purpose in mind, except maybe get a penny whistle. Unfortunately they did not have one in the key of G. So I went to the guitar area and looked around. I ended up buying a guitar, a Takamine EG345C. Let’s just say that the price was one that I just could not pass up.

I am on call again this week but this will be the last time for at least 6 weeks. I was covering for one of my co-workers and he will be taking the next few on call shifts to even things out.

Good night!

About cthibodeau

I am a baby-boomer who is now in his second career after spending 10 years in the military. I now work in the computer field, which also happens to be one of my hobbies. I also like to sing, play the guitar to accompany my singing, and play the piano when I practice (which is pretty much never these days)
