Garbage collection day

I guess there is one thing that was more convenient when we lived in the townhouse complex: being able to take garbage to the dumpster whenever the need arose. As homeowners, we are now expected to only get rid of garbage every two weeks! They do pick up recycling at the same time so that does make it easier to remember only one date instead of two. I don’t know, but it seems to me that the rules are more stringent for homeowners. But so far it is the only drawback so we are still way ahead on the positive side of things.

Buses were fuller today compared to yesterday – I guess I has to do with school having started again for everyone. I had to stand for the whole 4 minutes it took to get to my stop! Such burden…

I have to mention that a very kind person handed me back my cell phone after I had unknowingly dropped it on the ground while I was digging in my back pocket to get my bus pass! Thank you kind stranger!

Today was our change window at work, and we ended up with more changes than usual. It did not help that the person that normally did the work is on vacation so my coworker and I had to share the load – sort of like the old days but with a lot more hardware to take care of. We did manage to eventually get everything done and we will know tomorrow how things went.

Good night!

About cthibodeau

I am a baby-boomer who is now in his second career after spending 10 years in the military. I now work in the computer field, which also happens to be one of my hobbies. I also like to sing, play the guitar to accompany my singing, and play the piano when I practice (which is pretty much never these days)
